It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I introduce myself, Omar Wyatt Graham Jr., as Chief Executive Officer of edÚcate Higher. My passion for education and ensuring the success of all families and students has been cemented from childhood and encouraged over the past twelve years; servicing as tutor, teacher, mentor, coach, and coordinator. I have been committed to educational equity and to the implementation of a transformative educational system. Our mission, at edÚcate, is exactly that, to transform families through academic achievement, educational services, mental wellness, and college and career preparation.
With over a decade of experience, having worked as an academic tutor, site director to several expanded learning programs, UCLA MESA Adviser, college career adviser, and teacher; I am familiar with the expectations required for students to succeed academically and socio-emotionally. I am committed to applying this knowledge to set our standards high for our students so we can ensure success. We are also committed to maintaining effective teachers who are provided with ongoing support and coaching to guarantee quality instruction and service.
